HOLMESBURG CIVIC ASSOCIATION

The current Holmesburg Civic Association was established in July of 1987. Our purpose is to protect and promote the best interests of the residents within the Association's jurisdiction, to represent the community in matters pertaining to the safety and maintenance of the area, and to assure that Holmesburg will continue to be a desirable place in which to live. The area we serve is from Pennypack Creek to the North side of Sheffield Street and from the Delaware River to Rowland and Cresco Avenues. We have represented the community with the support of Councilwoman Joan Krajewski who gives us a direct line to all City services. We also receive the assistance and financial support of our State Representatives Michael McGeehan and John Perzel.

Our organization holds regular monthly meetings and is represented by officials voted into office by our membership. We have direct contact with the police districts to handle abandoned autos and other concerns. We are looking for your support and participation. If you are interested or would like additional information e-mail us or call our number below. If you would like to be a member and be placed on our mailing list for meeting notices we ask for a $5.00 fee to alleviate our mailing costs as we are non-profit organization and on limited funds. Please mail your check to the address below. Be sure to include your full name, address and phone number. We will send you your membership card. We hope to hear from you and look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
